2 skeins of Rainbow Cotton 8/4, color 016
1 skein of Rainbow Cotton 8/4, color 035
A piece of black scrap yarn for the eyes
A piece of beige scrap yarn for the hat
Crochet hook size 2.5 mm
2 small buttons

PATTERN INFORMATION
Always stuff the head and body firmly.
Always stuff between head and body as you
sew the head on to avoid a wobbly head.
Work tightly to avoid holes between the

Rnd 1: Ch 24 and join into a ring with a sl st.

Rnd 3: on this rnd, work 1 sc around each sc on the previous rnd. This creates a nice edge at the
bottom of the pants leg.
Rnds 4-18: 1 sc in each st (24)
Fasten off and cut off the yarn.
Make another one identical to this, but don’t cut off the yarn. Now, continue with the pantsuit.
PANTSUIT
Continue on the 2nd pants leg
Rnd 1: Ch 12, attach to the first pants leg
Rnd 2: 1 sc in each st on the first pants leg, 1 sc in each of the chains between the pants legs, 1 sc
in each st around the second pants leg, 1 sc in each of the chains on the other side (72)
Rnds 3-27: 1 sc in each st (72)
Rnd 28: 1 crab stitch in each st (72)
Fasten off and leave a tail long enough for assembling.
Now, pull the legs through the pants and fold the pants legs in slightly to make them “puff out” a
bit.
Sew the legs onto the body as shown in the picture, approx. on the 7th round from the bottom of
the body and with 9 sc in between.
STRAP
Attach the yarn on the back side of the pants where you finished the last round and ch 48, attach
these on the front side with a sl st.
Repeat for the second strap.
ASSEMBLING
· Sew the head onto the body
· Sew the arms on on rnd 7
· Sew the ears on on rnd 9 counted from the back of the head and with 9 sc in between
· Sew the hat on right in front of one of the ears
· Embroider the eyes on rnds 20-23 (counted from the snout) with 3 sc between the upper part of
the eyes
· Embroider nostrils on rnds 7-9 with 8 sc in between
· Sew the tail on in the middle of the back side
· On the front side, sew a button on at each strap at the edge of the pants
