2mm crochet hook

1 pairs of 10,5mm safety eyes

Approximately 12cm from toes to top of head

LEGS (Make 2)

Use the yellow yarn

Row 1: 6sc in MR (6)

Row 2: 6 inc (12)

Row 3: ( 1sc, 1inc) (18)

Row 4 – Row 6: 18 sc

Cut and secure the thread. Make the other leg but don’t cut the thread and continue working the body.

BODY

Still using the chosen yarn and the 2mm hook, continue working and put the second leg near to the first one and go ahead with these steps:

Row 7: sc in the following 18 sts of the second leg, Chain 6 and join with the first leg, sc in the following 18 sts of the first leg, 6 sc in 6ch, place a stitch marker in the last sts [48sc]

Row 8: 48 sc (48)

Row 9: Change the red yarn, BLO, 48 sc (48)

(Use the red yarn insert 1 sc in the row 8, FLO, 48 slst)

Row 10 – Row 11: 48 sc (48)

Change the white yarn

Row 12: 48 sc (48)

Change the red yarn

Row 13 – Row 15: 48 sc (48)

Change the scarlet yarn

Row 16: BLO, 48 sc (48)

(Use the yellow yarn, insert 1sc in the row15, FLO, 3dc in the first sts, sk 1sts, sc in the following sts, (3dc in next sts, sk 1sts, sc in the following sts ), repeat () to the end)

Row 17 – Row 21: 48 sc (48)

Row 22: ( 3sc, 1 dec, 3sc) * 6 (42)

Row 23: 42 sc (42)

Row 24: (5sc, 1 dec) *6 (36)

Row 25: 36 sc (36)

Row 26: (2sc, 1 dec, 2sc)*6 (30)

Row 27: (3sc, 1dec) *6 (24)

Row 28: (1sc, 1 dec, 1sc) *6 (18)

Place the safety eyes between row 21 and 22 at about 12 sts apart.

Row 29: (1sc, 1dec)*6 (12)

Start stuffing with the fiberfill.

Row 30: 6dec (6)

Use the needle to close the opening tight.

Embroider the nose between row 21 and 22.

ARMS (Make 2)

Use the scarlet yarn

Row 1: 6 sc in the magic ring (6)

Row 2 – Row 6: 6sc (6)

Fasten off. Stuff a little the arms (It’s ok if you don’t want to stuff the arms). Cut and secure the thread leaving enough to sew on the arms between rounds 14 and 15 of the body.

EARS (Make 2)

Use the pink yarn

Row 1: 1sc, 2 hdc, 3dc, 2hdc, 1 sc in the magic ring.

Fasten off.

Sew the ears to the row 26 of the body.

Congratulations! Your monster is ready!
